As far as possible Bread & Honey tries to minimise the impact it has on the planet. We do so in the following ways:
* All our meat and fish is sourced from within the British Isles
* All of our disposable cutlery and plates are biodegradable from sustainable sources within the UK
* We plan our deliveries as carefully as possible to reduce unnecessary mileage
* We endeavour to maintain food wastage at less than 2% by adhering carefully to recipes and required volume.
* We have introduced an internal action plan to reduce energy usage by ensuring any unnecessary equipment or lights are turned off when not in use.
* Any bottles or packaging produced from events are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
* A shower room has recently been installed to encourage members of staff to walk/cycle/run to work
